A Little About Me

I’m Kristin. I’m a UX/UI Designer who focuses on making complicated things feel simple. Before design, I spent 10 years working as a veterinary technician. That job taught me a lot about empathy, listening, and problem-solving, plus how to stay calm when chaos breaks out.

Outside of work, I’m usually outdoors or trying something new. I love archery, hiking, and ice skating. Lately I’ve been working on new moves and tricks, which means lots of practice, and a few wipeouts... I’m also into crafting and DIY projects, which usually end up looking great… after a few tries. I’ve learned that sometimes the first version isn’t perfect, but failure, or having to start over, often leads to something even better.

At the end of the day, I’m a designer who values empathy, enjoys simplifying the complicated, and believes the process should be just as enjoyable as the result.
