A Little About Me

Hi, my name is Kristin Lukosevic, and I am a 29-year-old UX/UI Designer. Before I began designing, I was a veterinary technician in an emergency facility and a few specialty hospitals. I specialized in ophthalmology and most recently cardiology. Throughout my Veterinary career I saw so many similarities to both human and animal illinesses. I worked in the veterinary field for about 7 years, and I loved being the voice for the animals and figuring out their exact needs since they do not have a voice of their own. While saving animals is very fulfilling, I was still missing the ability to meet my creative desires.

After some soul searching, I realized UX/UI design was right for me. I have completed my design coursework through CareerFoundry. Between what I have learned from school and self-teaching, I have completely fallen in love with the design process and design itself. I have created projects for all device sizes and a variety of applications. After schooling, I have been working on perfecting my design skills as well as freelance projects for logo design. I am also fascinated by the development process. I aspire to take users’ ideas create them and design them from start to finish.

When I am not designing, I enjoy being outside and hiking, I want to see all of the National parks. I also enjoy crafting, such as woodworking, and creating new pieces of wall art. Most of the art in my house is something I have created myself. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I would love to be a part of your team!
